Best Restaurants in Gurgaon

Farzi Café

There is no surprise that Farzi topped the list of Best restaurants in Gurgaon. The café boasts of a unique and innovative concept just like its name. The ambiance is nice and food is presented in an absolutely quirky manner, the food itself is a mix of two or more dishes. The occasional live performances here add to the overall dining experience in an exceptional manner.

The menu is quite interesting and the food served is good, lives to the expectations. Amritsari fish n chips, chicken tikka masala, rice, daal chawal, pav bhaji and kadhi chawal are presented in a great way and tasted good as well. The main course doesn’t have many varieties to choose from but whatever they have on the menu, they present it with such grace, that you instantly start liking the dish. They even give you some complimentary dishes dahi bomb and candies.  Chilli potato samosas and rajkachori are must try here. Pander tikka and other tikkas are prepared well and breads are served hot, flaky and just how they should be, you will love the Malabar parantha. Don’t be hesitant to order beverages here, they are worth giving a shot. In dessert section, nitrogen firni is a must try, other desserts are Parle G cheesecake and many other delish options for the sweet toots.

Overall Farzi is your place to go if you are in search of something new and innovative. Presented with a smile, food is good. Service is okayish, keeping in mind the crowd coming to this place this can be neglected, the stewards are well informed about the menu and polite. This place is surely one of the top restaurants in Gurgaon, one must go to Farzi café at least once.

 India Grill

India Grill is a great restaurant with a classy ambiance, occasional live performances and a nice wine cellar adding to the brownie points for this place. The décor is not extra ordinarily good but is calm and classy adding to the dining experience. Both vegetarians and non vegetarian foodies can have a good time here with the wide range of dishes from Continental, Chinese cuisine to North Indian cuisine and more.

The food that they serve is good, not very exceptional though but definitely value for money keeping in mind the spread and cost of the buffet. They also have live Italian counter for pizza and pastas. The starters are great here chicken tikka, veg kababs, mushroom risotto, bhutta kabab and more. The mains are good too, especially their lemon fish and nalli gosht are delectable. Other main course dishes included malai kofta nazuk, daal makhni, dum ka murgh and more. Chicken and fish preparations are well prepared. The breads are above average but not lip smacking good. For desserts the brownie tastes amazing, other desserts are worth a try too.

The service and staff at India grill will not fail to please you. The staff has a smile on their faces all the time, they are polite, courteous and attentive to your needs. Overall a great restaurant to fulfill your foodie needs with a variety of delectable dishes to pamper your taste buds.

  SodaBottleopenerwala

How could we miss this amazing Parsi restaurant in the town? SodaBottleopenerwala has a cutesy décor with vintage elements, old school cookie jars, coat stand, colored hanging lights, Parsi artifacts, checkered table cloths, wooden furniture and pool table. The place exhibits a typical Parsi restaurant feel with an indoor and outdoor seating and food is presented in a unique mumbaiya manner and the dishes have quirky names.

The place is always buzzing with good crowd and resembles an Iranian café. The berry pulav, keema pao and marghi na farachi are some must have dishes here. Berry pulav is exceptionally good with a burst of flavors. The overall food quality and presentation is great, food is served in aluminum dishes with an old school feel. Prawn and mushroo0m preparations are fine too. Beverages need a special mention, Dikra Kiri and parsiana are great. Baida roti, Sali ma margi and patra ni machi are good dishes too. Bhaindi bazaar seekh parantha, mutton curry, Tardeo AC Market Mamaji’s Grill Sandwich and egg kejriwal are other items you can try at SodaBottleOpenerwala.  The desserts are awesome, you will love the toblerone mousse and lagan nu custard. Don’t forget to try the Sekanji bin here.

            The Barbeque Nation

Barbeque nation is one of the most happening places in Gurgaon, can’t leave this one. Famed for their live griller concept, exceptional service and appetizing starters this place is surely worth a visit. The ambiance is simple and boring, not appealing to the eyeballs. The music that they play here is nice but the stewards joining for dance on one of the Bollywood numbers surely gains a plus point.

Not just non vegetarians but vegetarians can also have a good time at Barbeque Nation. The starters are amazing especially the non-veg starters. Shammi kababs, crispy corns, paneer tikka, cutlets, seekh kababs, mutton and prawn preparations are good in taste. Cajun potato and chicken preparations need a special mention. Although the main course fails to impress much with the common daal makhani, paneer curry, Patiala shahi ghost, pindi chole and biryani are just decent. The main course is nothing to write home about. The dessert section is really scrumptious, chocolaty brownie, creamy kheer and amazing ice cream are few of the many great desserts which are a great ending to the meal. Fish items are must have here, also the beverages are worth trying.

Overall this place has a nice and cheerful vibe to it, cooking your own meal with different sauces is a whole different experience and the service is exceptionally good. The staff is always happy to serve you, they can add some items to the main course menu and update their interiors as well. This is the right place to go with a group and eat bellyful.

The first and second course includes papri chaat, fruit skewers, delicious manchow soup bruschetta and more. The vegetarian spread here is as good as the non vegetarian spread. The accompanying drinks aam panna and lemon ice tea are good too. The third and fourth course is the starters, most of the items in these courses are good but chicken tangri, paneer tikka and galouti kabab need a special mention. Next two courses are International cuisine and global mains, which again are great. Pizza, ravioli pasta, dal makahni and rara ghosht are delectable. The breads are falky and served fresh with creamy raita. The dessert section has different varieties as well, you will love the gulab jamun and paan ice-cream.  All the drinks served with each course are nice and compliment the food really well.
