Buffet Restaurants:

If you are also a food addict like us (that you obviously are, if you are reading this), who loves to get high on food especially variety of food then you should definitely go through this blog. When you are always looking for variety of food and want to eat a lot, buffet restaurants are the best option to satisfy your taste buds. Buffets have so much to offer, you can see the food, choose what you want and how much you want on your plate without making a hole in your pocket. If a buffet does not have 20-30 varieties to offer, it doesn’t counts as a good buffet, I mean it’s a buffet and 10-15 starters, 5-8 main course dishes and 4-7 desserts should be there to pamper the taste buds.

Some restaurants have buffet style in which you get served on your table and get the check at the end of the meal others allow you to go to the counter and help yourself with different courses. When a buffet has so much to offer who wants the a-la-carte menu! Here is a list of restaurants offering top buffets in Gurgaon with genuine reviews to help you find the best Buffet restaurant in Gurgaon.

India Grill

This restaurant tops the list with its value for money buffet spread. The place has a classy ambiance, occasional live performances and a nice wine cellar add to the brownie points for this place. The décor is not extra ordinarily good but is calm and classy adding to the dining experience. Both vegetarians and non vegetarian foodies can have a good time here with the wide range of dishes from Continental, Chinese cuisine to North Indian cuisine and more.

The food that they serve is good, not very exceptional though but definitely value for money keeping in mind the spread and cost of the buffet. They also have live Italian counter for pizza and pastas. The starters are great here chicken tikka, veg kababs, mushroom risotto, bhutta kabab and more. The mains are good too, especially their lemon fish and nalli gosht are delectable. Other main course dishes included malai kofta nazuk, daal makhni, dum ka murgh and more. Chicken and fish preparations are well prepared. The breads are above average but not lip smacking good. For desserts the brownie tastes amazing, other desserts are worth a try too.

The service and staff at India grill will not fail to please you. The staff has a smile on their faces all the time, they are polite, courteous and attentive to your needs. Overall a great buffet restaurant in Gurgaon to fulfill your foodie needs with a variety of delectable dishes to pamper your taste buds.

Jungle Jamboree

A great new buffet place to dine out in a unique ambiance with a unique food concept. This is a jungle theme restaurant having different jungle theme zones and a 7 course on table buffet and 7 drinks accompanying them. The place is adorned with animal murals, aquarium, mermaid sculpture and other jungle elements, the thematic ambiance surely adds to the dining experience here. The buffet spread comprises of lots of items from Italian, Chinese, Oriental, Mediterranean, Lebanese, Thai & North Indian cuisine.

Each course is served on the table. The first and second course includes papri chaat, fruit skewers, delicious manchow soup, bruschetta and more. The vegetarian spread here is as good as the non vegetarian spread. The accompanying drinks aam panna and lemon ice tea are good too. The third and fourth course is the starters, most of the items in these courses are good but chicken tangri, paneer tikka and galouti kabab need a special mention. Next two courses are International and global mains, which again are great. Pizza, ravioli pasta, dal makahni and rara ghosht are delectable. The breads are flaky and served fresh with creamy raita. The dessert section has different varieties as well, you will love the gulab jamun and paan ice-cream.  All the drinks served with each course are nice and compliment the food really well.

The service and staff are very friendly and attentive too. With smiling faces, a new concept, a lavish spread of International & Indian cuisine and great food this place is surely worth a visit. They offer a lot of food, one cannot possibly eat all of that but cannot leave it either as the taste is wonderful. This is one of the best buffet restaurants in Gurgaon so if you are a group finding a place to eat a lot, head straight to Jungle Jamboree, highly recommended!

 Pirates of Grill

Pirates of Grill started with the same live griller on the table concept but with a better ambiance, few changes in the menu and great service. The interiors are nice and better than Barbeque nation but not spectacular. Live griller on the table adds to the dining experience where you can use different marinates according to your taste and grill the starters. The buffet spread is good especially the starters and desserts

The varieties in buffet is decent, the starters include Brazilian churassco chicken/pineapple, garlic prawns, murg tikka, paneer tikka, mutton seekh, salsa potato, kathal shammi and soups. Prawn and chicken preparations are amazing. They also serve a variety of salads, you should surely try some.  The main course is not as good as the starters with a lot of varieties to choose from. They offer daal makhni, kadhai paneer, ghosht kundan, biryani, noodles, chatpate aloo and baingan ka bharta to name a few. The breads are good and desserts are amazing specially the brownie and halwa. Mutton preparations are must have here. While some dishes and variety can be worked upon the overall experience at this place will not fail to please you.

The service is good in spite of the fact that this place is mostly crowded. The staff is cheerful, courteous and well trained which surely gains a plus point. Sometimes they also have live singers performing occasionally. Overall this is a great buffet restaurant with a nice vibe and surely value for money for the decent unlimited food.

Cost for two: Rs. 1200
Cuisine: North Indian, Continental, Asian, Mediterranean

The Great Kabab Factory

The great kabab factory has a nice ambiance, not extraordinary though as the interiors can be worked upon. As the name suggests the place serves delicious kababs and the main course don’t get much lime light here. The succulent kababs and nectarous desserts steal the show at The Great Kabab factory. The music that is played in background goes out of tune with the place sometimes.

The kababs here are definitely one of the best kababs served in the town. Mutton Galouti kabab that they serve are to die for. Other starters like achari machchi tikka, lamb chops, chicken tikka and bhuttey ke kabab are good too but grilled mushrooms and aloo chatpate are not up to the mark. In the main course they do not have much to offer but daal makhni, rizala murg and paneer do pyaza are decent. They don’t have much variety in the dessert section too, but whatever they have is enough to pamper the sweet tooth, but more desserts don’t hurt either! You will love the kulfi here. Fish tikka is to die for and so are the dahi ke kabab and ulte tawe ka parantha. Dum biryani had nice flavors and cooked perfectly.

You can experiment with the luscious beverages here. The service is good, they keep on serving and serving you. The staff is polite, friendly and serves you with smiling faces. Overall this is nice buffet restaurant in Gurgaon, if you have a thing for kababs this is the place to go!

The Barbeque Nation

Any buffet restaurant list is incomplete without Barbeque nation in it. Famed for their live griller concept, exceptional service and appetizing starters this place is surely worth a visit. The ambiance is simple and boring, not appealing to the eyeballs. The music that they play here is nice but the stewards joining for dance on one of the Bollywood numbers surely gains a plus point

Not just non vegetarians but vegetarians can also have a good time at Barbeque Nation. The starters are amazing especially the non-veg starters. Shammi kababs, crispy corns, paneer tikka, cutlets, seekh kababs, mutton and prawn preparations are good in taste. Cajun potato and chicken preparations need a special mention. Although the main course fails to impress much with the common daal makhani, paneer curry, Patiala shahi ghost, pindi chole and biryani are just decent. The main course is nothing to write home about. The dessert section is really scrumptious, chocolaty brownie, creamy kheer and amazing ice cream are few of the many great desserts which are a great ending to the meal. Fish items are must have here, also the beverages are worth trying.

Overall this place has a nice and cheerful vibe to it, cooking your own meal with different sauces is a whole different experience and the service is exceptionally good. The staff is always happy to serve you, they can add some items to the main course menu and update their interiors as well. This is the right buffet restaurant in Gurgaon to go with a group and eat bellyful.

The Ancient barbeque
